Principle

A face lift is an aesthetic surgical operation that corrects the slackening of the facial muscles and skin due to the natural ageing of the tissues. The muscles are tightened, and the skin is then fitted to the new curves of the face. Thanks to this dual action, the result is both lasting and natural.
A cervico-facial lift is the most complete type: it involves the neck, the cheeks and the temples. Some of the incisions are concealed in the hair and around the ears. From those incision points, the skin is tightened to varying degrees, depending in particular on how much the tissues have relaxed.

The muscles are then tightened in an extremely precise, measured process, to correct sagging while preserving the face’s capacity for expression. The skin is then re-draped naturally, with the excess removed, and the sutures are stitched without tension.

The centro-facial lift acts only on the lower eyelids, the hollows of dark circles and the cheekbones. Two incisions are required: the first, at the lower eyelid (right below the lashes and continuing into the crow’s feet), and a second concealed under the hair by the temples. Once these two incisions have been made on both sides of the face, the surgeon can pull back the deep subperiosteal plane (in contact with the bone). Depending on the surgeon, the cheekbones will be vertically suspended using thread or more sophisticated absorbable anchoring systems.

Results
Although results can be seen within two months, it takes three to six months after the lift for the face to be really redefined and for the tissues to have settled back in place. The effect is “natural”, and the facial features appear rested and rejuvenated.

Possible side effects
The after-effects of a cervico-facial lift include oedema (swelling), bruising at the chin and neck, and painful tension behind the ears and around the neck. For centro-facial lifts, it is normal for oedema to appear on the face, accompanied by bruising at the eyelids.

I want a face lift: Cebelia helps me with its face lift creams
A facelift is cosmetic surgery to correct sagging facial muscles and skin as a result of natural ageing of the tissues. The muscles are re-tensioned, and the skin is then adapted to the new curves. Thanks to this dual action, the result looks natural and long-lasting. The cervico-facial lift is the most complete: it acts on the neck, cheeks and temples. Some of the incisions are hidden in the hair and around the ear. From these incisions, the skin is tightened to a greater or lesser extent depending on the individual case and, in particular, the extent to which the tissues have slackened.

The muscles are then re-tensioned, with extreme precision and control, to correct the sagging while preserving the facial expression. The skin is then naturally re-draped, excess skin removed and sutures applied without tension. The centro-facial lift only acts on the lower eyelids, the hollow of the dark circles and the cheekbone. Two incisions are required: one on the lower eyelid (just under the eyelashes and continuing into the crow's feet), and a second hidden in the hairy part of the temple area.

These two incisions on either side allow the surgeon to remove the deep sub-periosteal layer (in contact with the bone). Depending on the surgeon, the cheekbones will be suspended vertically using sutures or more sophisticated resorbable anchoring systems. Extend the results of the procedure at home by using our effective lifting cream with anti-ageing benefits on your clean skin every day.

Effective facelift cream: when can I expect to see the first results of my facelift?
Even if the result is visible within two months, it's only three to six months after the facelift that the face will be properly redesigned and the tissues will be back in place. The effect is "natural", with features that look rested and rejuvenated. To accelerate the appearance of the final result, it is essential to use a face-lift cream on the repaired skin surface. This will help to hide any small scars and bruises during the day. Using a brush, apply the lifting cream to the area to be masked, then blend in by tapping lightly with your finger.

For cervico-facial lifting, the post-operative effects are oedema (swelling), bruising of the chin and neck, and painful tension behind the ears and around the neck. For centrofacial fimpling, it is normal for oedema to appear on the face, accompanied by bruising of the eyelids.
