Principle
Injection of botox, or botulinum toxin, is an aesthetic medical procedure designed to erase or reduce the signs of ageing, particularly expression lines in the upper face. The procedure relaxes the muscles and halts the development of expression lines. On the upper face, botox is injected in small quantities into the hyperdynamic muscles responsible for horizontal forehead wrinkles, frown lines, crow's feet (at the corner of the eye) and the lower eyelid.

Results
The results are visible after about 5 days: the skin is smoothed, wrinkles are erased, and the face regains its radiance and youthfulness. The aim is to achieve a natural, not rigid, look.

Possible side effects
After botox injection, the skin is not very marked, but some redness may appear. A feeling of tension may also be felt.
