Principle
Mesotherapy consists of injecting very low doses of medications locally into the dermis. Created in 1952, this technique is now used in aesthetic medicine, sport medicine and pain medicine. In aesthetic medicine, depending on the instruments used, it may be referred to as mesolifting (with a needle), derma-rolling (with a roller) or micro-needling (with a pen). In all these instances, the goal is to firm and refresh the skin, as an anti-ageing or cellulite treatment, or to remove acne scars.

Results
This technique is effective at combating the skin’s loss of density and elasticity. The skin is tighter, better hydrated and suppler.

Possible side effects
Redness may appear at the end of the aesthetic procedure, and the skin may be sensitive for a few days.

Number of sessions & budget

Several sessions are necessary, starting from €100

What can you expect after facial mesotherapy?
The healing process after facial mesotherapy varies from person to person, but generally takes place over a period of a few days to two weeks. During the first few days, it is normal to feel a slight redness and swelling in the treated areas. This is due to the stimulation of the skin and increased blood circulation. Pain is generally minimal.

It manifests itself mainly as a tingling sensation or heat. These side effects are temporary and gradually diminish. Afterwards, they give way to rejuvenated and revitalised skin. CEBELIA can help you through the post-mesotherapy period with its comprehensive range of products. For example, if you have very sensitive skin, our Soin Extrême Visage will deeply moisturise your skin to reduce the effects of the injection.

What post-mesotherapy care is essential?
After a facial mesotherapy session, it's essential to take care of your skin to maximise the benefits of the treatment and minimise any temporary discomfort. Here are our recommendations for immediate care:

- Apply a soothing cream such as our Soin Extrême or our Crème Confort Visage.

- Avoid wearing make-up for at least 24 hours after the treatment to allow the skin to breathe and regenerate.

- Keep well hydrated by drinking water to promote healing and keep the skin supple.

- Protect your face from the sun by using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a high SPF, even if you don't plan to go out.

- Avoid skincare products containing potentially irritating ingredients, such as alcohol or acids, for a few days. Cebelia products have been specially designed to protect your skin.

- Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area to prevent further irritation.

By following these recommendations, you'll promote a gentle recovery and optimise the results of your mesotherapy, so you can quickly enjoy more radiant, revitalised skin.
