Principle
A hyaluronic acid injection is one of the most popular aesthetic medical techniques today for reducing furrows and wrinkles, plumping the lips and filling out the face. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the human body, which produces about 5 grams of it daily for the renewal of the skin tissues. With time, daily production levels decline. To fight the signs of ageing, the product – created by means of biotechnological processes – is injected using a very fine needle to erase the trace of broken dermis and to replump the furrows. It is a good idea to repeat the aesthetic procedure every 6 to 10 months.

Results
The hydrating, volumizing effect of hyaluronic acid is visible immediately. Depending on how it is used, hyaluronic acid can combat drawn features and a tired appearance, giving the face new life and freshness.

Possible side effects
Redness and swelling may appear and can last anywhere from a few hours to two days, as well as bruising, particularly around the lips and eyes.

Number of sessions & budget
Sessions to repeat every 6 to 10 months, from €200 per injection
