Mandelic Acid
 

Mandelic acid is a fruit acid, extracted from bitter almonds, it is part of the AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid) category. These molecules are, with BHA (beta-hydroxy acid), the chemical exfoliants, and therefore non-abrasive, the most used on the market.

Mandelic acid has a very well tolerated keratolitic action: that is to say, it interacts with keratinocytes in order to remove dead cells from the skin but without attacking it thanks to its high molecular weight.

It allows it to improve the appearance of the skin, it is more hydrated, the complexion is enhanced and regains radiance while hyperpigmentation and acne are reduced, even for sensitive skin and areas.
