Escin

ESCIN

Escin is a plant extract from the fruit of the horse chestnut or witch hazel.

It is this active ingredient which gives them their anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant medicinal properties.

By acting at different levels of inflammation, escin will help counter the production of the neurotransmitters responsible for it and therefore limit the response.

The active ingredient will then increase venous tension and activate microcirculation, to increase tissue drainage and reduce swelling.
