Physcomitrella patens

Physcomitrella Patens is a thousand-year-old moss, one of the oldest plants on Earth.

It has an extreme capacity to resist changes in climatic and environmental conditions over time.

At the origin of these adaptations, the antioxidant molecules which compose it. Applied to the skin, they limit premature skin aging by preventing damage caused by the various actors of oxidative stress: free radicals, ROS (Reactive Oxygen Derivatives), heavy metals and peroxides. They are responsible for oxidation in cells, damaging DNA and accelerating the formation of wrinkles.

Acting at the cell nucleus, the foam improves its communication with its external environment. It restores “young” functioning to cells and allows them to become more resilient: they are more resistant to external attacks such as pollution or climatic variations.
